Symphony of Dreams, marching with Children in Love

On June 20, 2015, the melody of the "Symphony of Dreams, marching with Children in Love—Lang Lang Charity Concert," jointly initiated by international piano master Lang Lang and World Harmony Ideal Earth, officially resonated at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center. The funds raised, totaling 340,000 RMB, will be donated entirely to the Shanghai Charity Foundation to support art education for underprivileged children and aid for major illnesses.

That evening, Lang Lang opened the concert with Chopin's Prelude in B minor, Op. 28 No. 4, and performed four of Chopin's preludes. The melodies flowed beautifully, with dynamic shifts that captivated the audience, immersing them in the dreamy, poetic, and passionate Romanticism of Chopin's piano works as the first half of the concert concluded.

Pianist from Magic Finger, Playing Magnificent Scores

The evening's greatest surprise came from two young Magic Finger pianists from Liu Jian Art Piano School in Changzhou, Jiangsu—Ge Hongyu and Wang Keren. The seven-year-old prodigy, Ge Hongyu, was the first to perform. She delicately and gracefully played Tchaikovsky's "Barcarolle" from "The Seasons—June," setting a beautiful tone for the second half of the concert. Her focused and heartfelt performance captivated every audience member, and the applause continued long after she had finished.
Following her, the nine-year-old prodigy Wang Keren took the stage. He performed Chopin's "Waltz in E-flat Major, Op. 18," a piece frequently showcased by international piano star Lang Lang. Wang's confident and vibrant interpretation brought a brilliant dance scene to life, immersing the audience in a dazzling display of musical elegance. Together, these two young pianists elevated the second half of the concert to a breathtaking climax.
