On January 6th and 7th, accompanying the footsteps of the New Year 2018, Liu Jian Art Piano School at the Beijing Guomao Headquarters hosted its grand New Year concert. Flowers, applause, piano sounds, and cheers filled the entire venue. Every little angel from Liu Jian Art was dressed to impress, showcasing their talents perfectly in front of the audience. Holding three consecutive New Year concerts within 24 hours, the Beijing Guomao Headquarters made history for Liu Jian Art!

Notably, Chen Zai, Xu Zixuan, and outstanding member Li Yingjun from Liu Jian Art "China Magic Finger—— Young Pianists Team" traveled from Jiangsu to Beijing to celebrate the New Year with the local children and deliver a splendid performance. This event marks the first major activity since the establishment of the Liu Jian Art’s Beijing Guomao branch. It also represents the 326th, 327th, and 328th performances in Liu Jian Art’s “Opening the Door to Music” series of special concerts.

At the concert, children from the Liu Jian Art Piano School’s Beijing Guomao branch, the youngest of whom is just three years old, took the stage in their formal performance attire. Although it was their debut performance for most, and despite their varying ages and skill levels, each child exuded confidence and poise, showing no sign of stage fright.
The repertoire ranged from international classics such as "Moscow Nights," "Turkish March," "Jingle Bells," and Chopin's Waltz to beloved Chinese pieces like "The Moon Reflects on the Erhai Lake," "Dance of the Water Plants," and "Jasmine Flower." The children showcased their hard work and practice with impressive performances, not only executing the pieces flawlessly but also demonstrating excellent stage manners. Each performance stirred the audience, eliciting enthusiastic applause. It was clear that they are proud members of the Liu Jian Art family.

Chen Zai, Xu Zixuan, and outstanding student Li Yingjun from the "China Magic Finger——Young Pianists Team" each showcased their musical talents to the audience in Beijing. As star students of Liu Jian Art, they delivered mesmerizing performances of works by Mozart and Johann Strauss Jr., leaving the audience in awe, especially considering that these pieces were played by children aged just 7 and 9. The Magic Finger also engaged with the audience during the event, answering questions and sharing their personal experiences of learning the piano.

After each concert's performance segment, Principal Wang Gang from the Liu Jian Art Piano School’s Beijing Guomao campus provided detailed feedback on each child's performance, encouraging them to continue practicing diligently, maintain good study habits, and strive for improvement. Liu Jian, the founder of Liu Jian Art Piano School and Lang Lang's manager, also took the opportunity to share his years of educational philosophy and teaching experience with the attending parents. He offered words of encouragement for the children and strengthened the parents' confidence. Liu Jian not only elaborated on the teaching principles and methods of Liu Jian Art but also engaged in discussions about the meaning of life, child development, and how to be an effective parent.

The 2018 New Year’s Concert was a major event for the Liu Jian Art Piano School’s Beijing Guomao branch, serving as both a grand gathering and a recital for the students. The aim of this concert was not only to build the children’s confidence and accumulate stage experience but also to identify and address any areas for improvement. Through this performance, the school hoped to enhance the children’s piano skills, foster a deeper love for music, and strengthen the unity and harmony of both the children and their families.
